I still believe the best solution to DX spotter abuse is to send DX
Spots with IP addresses included.

Correct me if I am wrong, but does not Spider allow users to connect,
immediately send a DX spot and then disconnect without sending out a
PC92 for them at all?

I also believe some Spider clusters, EA6VQ-1 for instance, does not send
out PC92s at all for those who use it to send DX Spots. Users are not
logged in, but simply view web pages and send spots via web pages. Are
not spots from these types of clusters open to exactly the same kind of
abuse we see from DX Summit? Spots are entered at EA6VQ-1 by using web
pages that include the callsign of the spotter. Could you not stream a
bunch of web page data to EA6VQ-1 with different originating calls and
have them all go out, exactly as has happened at DX Summit? These
types of clusters could send out the IPs in their DX Spots without too
much trouble.
