Some people will however still put the numbers instead of the name,
because they won't have setup their DNS properly and the name won't work.
If your SW doesn't work with the name, don't kludge with the IP, fix
your DNS server entries so that it *DOES* work with the name.
Of course you DO need real IP addresses for the DNS entry....
