[Dxspider-support] LOTW "+"

It is as much use as you care to make it. Ignore it if you wish or take
advantage of knowing that DXCC credit for LoTW users will be near certain
for a QSO with a DX station whose spot carries the "+" flag.

Lee VE7CC already introduces the flag in his auto-updating user application
thus negating some requirement for Spider to carry it. However non-VE7CC
users could benefit from it being in Spider. ARC seems to have no difficulty
in managing it, however I don't know what 'database in its current form'
refers to and if it's a nightmare to implement in Spider then the consensus
might rule the decision. Such feeling against it wasn't aired on the support
list was it? I don't recall it anyway.

It is possible (given that I can get my head around the rules and I can
get a regular source of the data).

However, when this was discussed before, the consensus seemed to be that
it wasn't that much use and was a bit of a fag to administer with the
database in its current form.

I believe Robert is the guru here. I would welcome further discussion.
