Ok ..... I finally figured out that I have perl v5.8.0 built for i586-linux-thread-multi - perl -v<br>and it's been working just fine on Version 1.52 (build 61.154) on Linux SuSe 8.2.0<br><br>I download CVSlatest.tgz
and ActivePerl-5.8.8.820-i686-linux-glibc-2.2.4-gcc-274679.tar.gz<br><br>Now for the dumb question .....<br>Is Active Perl 5.8.8.820 fine?<br>On the cpan modules ----- Should I get the latest versions of everything I can find and install them?
