With windows 7 the telnet program was not included. You have to install a program such as tera term. Its freeware.<br>

I have a telnet user who recently obtained a new laptop preloaded with Windows 7.<br>

He has been trying to use the "Run" function to connect to my cluster with no luck.<br>

He has two other devices, a PC and another laptop, both with XP and he has no problems with either of them.<br>
<br>
<br>

Can someone please give me a quick tutorial of Windows 7 vs Telnet vs <Start>, <Run> function.<br>

My operating system is XP.<br>
<br>

<br>
I can make a stateside phone call if that would be easiest.<br>
