The files I have are for 32 bit and do not seem to work on 64 bit. I am trying to follow the original directions for a Windows installation. Namely, the PPm files such as Data-Dumper, DB_File, Net-Telnet, TimeDate, and Time-HiRes files which do not install on a 64 bit OS. Also, I am unclear as to which version of PERL to get.
