Hi group, firstly thanks must go to Dirk for hosting the mailing list.

I fervently hope that the list serves to increase dialogue between sysops (and 
prospective sysops) so that ideally we can head off some of the 'funnies' 
such as the multiple looped connections that we saw recently, and that any 
issues can be discussed amicably and resolved without threats of violence :-)

Anyone got anything to discuss at present?  The network seems to have 
been nice and stable in recent weeks, thank goodness!
