Hi All
I found a very low cost computer for running a cluster
It's Linksys NSLU2 NAS, Cost around £50 and runs linux.
I've installed Debian 4.0 on this , its an ARM RISC machine using an
Intel IPX420 processor.
In its raw state it runs at 133 MHz, But removing a resistor doubles
the clock speed to 266 MHz.
I'm using mine with a 8 GB flash memory stick. Its got 2 available USB
ports and two internal ones, measures about 100 mm x 120 mm and about
30 mm thick. Power consumption is aprox 10 W.
That makes a huge dent in the electricity bill :)
