I really ought to make this bit easier to do...

I will write a little program for it. 

What I would do is:-

1) Ignore the locator fields in DXVars.pm
2) Edit everything else to your satisfaction and run 
   /spider/perl/create_sysop.pl
3) start up the node.
4) login 
5) sh/qra 52 1 N 0 57 E     (insert real lat/long here)

That will tell you what your qra locator is and you can then edit
DXVars.pm

After that then:

6) stop the node 
7) run: /spider/perl/update_sysop.pl


To calculate your lat or long in the form that is required in DXVars.pm
is:-

degrees + ( minutes / 60 )
