Hi Tony,
The maxspot is only the max number of spots you can ask for.  That is,
if the maxspot is set to 100 for example, you will be able to ask for up
to ...

sh/dx/100

This is the maximum that could be asked for, 10 spots will always be
shown if no number is specified.
