So you must have set a password in the past.
Apart from remembering it, you can do two things:-
1. look at c:\spider\data\user_asc in wordpad and then search for your
callsign. You will see your password there.
2. run perl C:\spider\perl\update_sysop.pl. That should empty your
password and allow you in.
When you are in I suggest you then create one or two other accounts with
sysop privileges (either your callsign with different SSIDs or a
fictitious one). You do that by:-
1. login in using each callsign (for example g1tlh-1, g7brn)
2. logout
3. login as the sysop
4. set/priv 9 g1tlh-1 g7brn
Note that giving someone a sysop privilege doesn't mean that they can
get sysop privileges from outside. If those callsigns login from outside
they get normal user privileges.
To get sysop privilege you must either be telneting to localhost (ie be
on the machine) or you must enter a password (no password, no sysop
privilege - ever).
