[Dxspider-support] Local announces.

Hi,
This is like the defined local node(s)in CLX. I had asked for this
capability with CLX and use it between local nodes.
To expand on the local node capability, the conference capability along with
spanning to local nodes would also be an enhancement that would be useful.

Subject: [Dxspider-support] Local announces.

Hi all,
Maybe there are other clusters who work in groups (as we do) with
2 or more clusters under the same umbrella. Is it reasonable (Dirk) to make
the suggestion that "Local" clusters can be grouped for "Local" announces
with a set/localnode command ?

A normal "ANN" would then be sent to connected users of the "group" nodes .
Possibly if all those nodes were Spider nodes then one ANN info packet could
be sent to the other nodes for redistribution rather than send multiple ann
packets except those sent to "originating node" users. In short , a
selective ann/full using set/localnode to define.
