Hi all
Ok Dirk.
I dowloaded latest CVS,same result .
After some investigation I found following :
As You said it works on console and telnet .
But via AX25 :
--------------
Talk is ok.
In mail : Those characters are OK in the header but not in de msg part.
But connecting to the linuxconsole via AX25 ( axspawn) and uploading a file with "cat"
the special characters are OK.
Looking to a msg in /spider/msg entered via AX25 all this french characters are "E2" and
not "82" "8a" etc .
reading via AX25 a msg that was entered via telnet gives wrong output also ! strange characters !
Reading the same msg via telnet : french characters ok !
But : looking to a msg entered via telnet the letter "é" (82) becomes E9 in the file !
è (8a) becomes E8 !
Sorry to bother You with all this hi !
It does not need priority !
I know You have lot to do .
73
Roland

This *may* be fixed in CVS. I have changed a couple of things which
might be a problem,
I actually can't reproduce the problem. If I cut and paste the example
characters below into a message using either the console or a telnet
connection - it just works for me.
