I performed a reinstall of the Microsoft network client and everything started working!  I thank everyone for there help and patience putting up with my client error!

    I have no experience with spider running on windows platform
    but it looks like the parsing of the string is wrong..
    try to put the telnet statement between "double quotes"
    or maybe only the ip address between quotes ..
