[Dxspider-support] Stations Get Disconnected For No Reason

Simon ,

I am amazed at the number of times you allow data to be
resent before a station gets disconnected IE 50 :-
> default 7 800 100 * * 50 - sysop /spider/src/client
client %u ax25
> peer> Win T1 T2 T3 idl N2 <mode> <uid> <exec>
<argv[0]>[<args....>]

My current settings on the main user node and cluster used
for 1 x 9k6 , 1 x 1200
baud RF links and 1 x 10 Mb ethernet link are :-

4 50 2 900 900 4 though until a couple of days ago the
900 settings were the * default.

Premature disconnections appeared to be caused by T1 here
and changing from the default * to 50 (T1) appeared to
solve it and it's been running ( 4 50 2 * * 3 ) ( both node
and cluster ) for about a year with no premature disconnect
bother. The changes to 900 are by request from my local link
to sort a hang up problem. (Results not known yet).

- Regards Colin
