This has happened to me also in the past, try rm /spider/data/dupefile

then restart. Another thing to consider, if you allow telnet via inetd, you
may wish to kill inetd, load cluster.pl, wait about 10-30 seconds (depending
on the speed of your cpu) then restart inetd.
