Some means of informing nodes that users are connecting or disconnecting
must be used surely or how else would talks and chat be able to take place
unless something tied a user to a known node at each node location. SH/ST
<callsign> currently tells if a station is known in the circuit and if
connected or not provided it's presence is indicated by a PC and the user is
not a hidden one.

If nodes are somehow made aware of every user worldwide , this is going to
increase traffic dramatically surely ?
