Steve,

try using ^J I have found that some telnet clients including web based ones do not work using the return key.

Kelly - FYI, I am able to login to you on port 6904, but not on port
23. I tried telnet clients under linux and also OS X. In either case,
when I telnet to port 23, I see an echo that is not present on port
6904, e.g.:

sfranke:~> telnet spider.dx-central.com
Trying 67.41.77.90...
Connected to shaggy.doublezepp.com.
Escape character is '^]'.
login:kk99aann^M^M^M^M

I never get past the login prompt. The ^M's are the echo's in response
to me hitting the "return" key.
