Hi all.

I just downloaded Dxspider V1.5 and every thing seems ok, but I'm having
problems with the ppm installation of DB_File.ppd, I had ActivePerl
v5.6.1 binary build 630 installed in my computer, and I downloaded the
required files

       Data-Dumper.zip
       Net-Telnet.zip
       TimeDate.zip
       Time-HiRes.zip
       DB_File.zip

from http://ppm.activestate.com/PPMPackages/zips/6xx-builds-only/ as
indicated, all of them installed correctly with the command "ppm install
..." except DB_File.ppd which always gives the following error message.

D:\ppm>ppm install db_file.ppd
Installing package 'db_file.ppd'...
Error installing package 'db_file.ppd': Read a PPD for 'db_file.ppd',
but it is
not intended for this build of Perl (MSWin32-x86-multi-thread)

So since the installation.txt states that "A recent installation used
the newer ActivePerl v5.6.1, build 633 without any noticeable
difficulty", I went ahead and uninstalled ActivePerl v5.6.1 build 630
and installed ActivePerl v5.6.1 build 633, but to my dismay the result
was just the same, all of the additional packages installed correctly
except DB_File.ppd, which again gave me the same error message.

for your info mi OS is Windows XP and the system information is as
follows:

OS Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 1 Compilation 2600
System type	X86-based PC
Processor x86 Family 6 Model 8 Stepping 3 Genuine Intel ~797 MHz

Total physical RAM 512.00 MB
Available physical RAM 207.60 MB

Any idea what may be causing this problem? or, there is address, FPT or
URL, were I may download the DB_File.zip that will be compatible with
ActivePerl v5.6.1 build 633 or build 630?

Thanks for any help that I may get and have a nice day.
