Dear all,
I have a question about the use of sysop command over telnet.
I am a node sysop without any ground wave link (only connected via
telnet links).
When I don't set password for sysop call and connect from remote via
telnet, sysop privilege is not given. In this case, I cannot gain sysop
privilege using 'sysop' command because I haven't even set password.
When I set password for sysop and connect from remote, password will be
required upon login. Then the privilege is automatically given before
using sysop command.
Is there any way that I can login without password and later gain privilege
using sysop command with the use of password verification?
