[Dxspider-support] Weather Node

Has anyone tried to interface a weather node to broadcast weather
information to local connected stations via the cluster?  Or is this a
dumb question?  I know that there is software out there to send data to
stations upon connection to the "weather node".  I was just wondering if
anyone has tinkered with the idea of supplying weather information to
local hams?
