And when you login, if no forward/opernam has been done for (mumble) 3
months (might be 1 month, can't remember), it will do an automatic
for/oper.

It will only do this for people who actually login. Inactive users
should disappear after (more mumbling) 12 months inactivity.

This should mean that active users' details are kept up to date, but
inactive ones slowly timeout.
