I thought I would look further into the sh/mydx problem.  "sh/mydx" is 
really "sh/dx filter".  I have tested it extensively, and if there is any 
kind of filter defined, it seems to work OK.  But, if there are no filters 
defined, it's broken.

So, I thought I would try and debug it.  But, even though I've programmed in 
many languages, I've never programmed in Perl before.  Can someone recommend 
a good freeware Perl IDE for WinXP?
