[Dxspider-support] Node Freezing

Hi all
ei7wdx node has developed an odd problem today.Current setup is spider V1.51
build 57.263
running on Slackware 9.0 with perl v5.6.1. This setup has been runing for
about a year with no
problems until today.The cluster has started to freeze for no apparent
reason. During this behaviour cluster will not respond to any input and
produces no output either to terminal
or to the debug file,and can remain like this for up to 20 mins without
Linux restarting the node. Killing the node causes it to exit without any
messages.

and upon restarting it runs normally for between 10 and 20 minutes then
freezes again.
If I let it die and restart itself I get the following

message about a broken pipe signal,the console remains connected all the
time and all that is seen are nodes disconnecting and then reconnecting as
the cluster restarts.
Anone else seen this problem
