Jack,
I sent you a direct response to this <<yesterday>>, pointing out exactly where you've gone wrong.
Did you not get it?
Regards - Iain

Subject: [Dxspider-support] clx node connection problem
I have a dxspider cluster on win98 and I am trying to connect to a CLX node.
I did a set/clx <callsign> to set up the node
My connect script looks like this:
timeout 60
connect telnet 128.192.52.43 599
'k4sac-1' (username)
'password'
and here is part of my debug: (being new at this I am not sure what I am seeing, but think it is telling me that other system is rejecting my callsign, however when I log in manually using a telnet app, it logs in fine)
1077552979^<- I K4SAC set/clx k4uga-8
1077552980^-> D K4SAC K4UGA-8 created as CLX style Node (I set up as a CLX node)
1077573356^<- I K4SAC connect k4uga-8
1077573356^connect 78: timeout set to 60
1077573356^connect 78: timeout set to 60
1077573356^CONNECT 78 sort: telnet command: 128.192.52.43 599
1077573357^Connected 78 to 128.192.52.43 599
1077573357^-> D K4SAC connection to K4UGA-8 started

1077573358^DXChannel K4UGA-8 created (5)
1077573359^<- O K4UGA-8 telnet
1077573359^-> B K4UGA-8 0
1077573359^-> E K4UGA-8 0
1077573359^K4UGA-8 channel func state 0 -> init
1077573360^<- I K4UGA-8 Welcome to the clx gateway - you logged in from 208.47.93.174/1466.
1077573360^<- I K4UGA-8 Your callsign:Callsign invalid.

1077573406^<- I K4UGA-8 Your callsign:Callsign invalid.
Could someone point me in the direction of what I may be doing wrong? I am guessing that it is in my login script....
Thanks
Jack K4SAC
