Noel,
Does you router or firewall allow IP filtering or blocking?

Subject: [Dxspider-support] Badspotter ?

Hi sysop's !

I have a little issue and can't find a solution by myself:

Sometime, bad users could spoof callsigns and send bad spots.

We can identify them by their IP address.
How to disconnect and ban their IP from the cluster?
Even if they are DHCP, it can help for some hours.

I made some quick test with the badspotter command as described in the
manual:
set/badspotter b0mb p1rat nocall
but it seems the bad spotter si still able to send his wrong informations on
the local cluster
Is it a bug or a feature?

thanks
noel f6bgc
