[Dxspider-support] Ham version against pro version

I am having trouble getting the ham version of the engine to communicate
with my TNC paccom 220. I have tried parity, word length and speed
cahnges but it will only work on the pro version.  Can anyone help...
It's the only bit failing to work re dxspider setup. I am using win 98
