Ok I will have a look . Just trying to get all the info I can now . I am a
windows use not a red hat . I will have a look and get all the note's and
sit down one night with a Big cup of Tea  and have a try . thanks  Bob

That's probably about the minimum which would work with both IRLP and
spider, if neither is overly busy.  I ran spider for a while with a P133
(32 MB) and it was a bit sluggish (probably using swap a lot), but I'm
running a 1.2 GHz Celeron with 320MB after what the video uses and it
coasts.  With 9 users currently (3 r.f., 6 internet), the node is quite
busy right now (contest) but spider is using a total of less than one
percent of the CPU and 10 percent of the memory.

Use the ax25 and mkiss modules in the kernel.  This might require
compiling your own kernel, if Red Hat doesn't include these modules.
See the spider installation manual for information on setting this
up--it's a lot easier to follow than the AX25-HOWTO.
