Until you get a complete initialization with the DXNet node, you will 
not be able to send out spots.
You can try an output route filter to see if that help.
I will say that I've always had problems with DXNet links.  VE2PKT was 
able to get the DXNet link for VE9EMO working, but I have not idea what 
he did.
If you have any influence with the other sysop, why not change that node 
to DXSpider?
