Not maybe. Is.

ls -l /spider

should come back with something like:-

lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root 16 Sep 24 12:20 /spider -> /home/sysop/spider

Where 'sysop' is the unix login name of the user that you are using as
the 'sysop' user (as per the instructions).

If it comes back with anything else:-

rm /spider
ln -s ~/sysop/spider /

You have to be 'root' to do this.
