Since Dirk has not answered yet, I will.  You can not directly install 
new cty.dat files into DXSpider and then simply reboot.

If you, or anyone else is interested, I will explain offline how to 
incorporate a new file.  However, there's a little hitch that you will 
need to be aware of when doing a future revision update to your Spider 
software.
