The first thing to check when anything like this happens is the date and
time. A spot has to have a date and time within +15 mins (ahead of) and
-60 minutes (behind) your system date to be accepted.

Do a : set/debug chanerr
in the console and look at the output, it will tell why it is being
rejected.

Then do: unset/debug chanerr
to put it back as it was.
