I don't think that would be appropriate.  It is not allowed by the rules of
most contests, but for VHF, UHF, EME, etc. it is very useful if not
essential.  It can also be used to try and get people to listen on a "dead"
band like 10 or 6 is at the bottom of the cycle.

Besides, if you blocked it, people would just log in with a different
callsign.

Are you agree to introduce in DxSpider an improvement to deny the users to
make the so called "selfspotting", or at least to permit this by giving a
little privilege (level 1 for example), as you have done for dx/<call>
command ??

For the other Sysop, how do you think about ?? ...please discuss...
