[Dxspider-support] cvs -z3 update -d

Could it not be a CVS problem? When I try a CVS update I get:
 
Can't create temporary directory /tmp/cvs-serv31637
Too many links
 
Aside from the numbering after 'serv' it is the same error.

I also have the announce error where the same old one from 31/12/05 prefixes
the commanded list.

I think that may be at your end. I suggest you look very carefully at
your / and /tmp directory with ls -l
