Just wondering about doing updates.  If one is reasonably current with the 
latest release, is it necessary to do an update when it could lead to problems?
I say this because I wouldn't like to find my cluster broken and then have 
to spend lots of time and effort to fix it.

So the question here  is  -  how often should one update bearing in mind 
the changes are only small or gradual ones for the most part.
