I won't try to answer your ann/full question.  Too many fires would be 
lit!

However, the passing of user info between nodes is irrelevant to using 
talk.  Talk will not work between nodes unless one user can see the 
other user.  In other words, both users show as connected.  There's a 
difference between user information, as passed in the PC41s, and seeing 
connected users which are passed in the PC16s.
