Ah.. unless they have fixed it (try "ppm install Curses") then 
console.pl doesn't work under Windows. The standard way to connect is to 
telnet localhost 7300 (or use putty which is much nicer).

However, the gtkconsole seems to work reasonably well if you can be 
bothered to install all the gtk stuff.
