[Dxspider-support] CVS problem

Hi!

I have problems to get the CVS update to run on my computer.

When I give the command

    cvs -d:pserver:anonymous at dxspider.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/dxspider
login

I get the respond

    Logging in to
:pserver:anonymous at dxspider.cvs.sourceforge.net:2401/cvsroot/dxspider
    CVS password:

I then press Enter and get

    cvs login: warning: failed to open /home/sysop/.cvspass for reading: No
such file or directory
    *** glibc detected *** double free or corruption (fasttop): 0x080d7000
***
    cvs [login aborted]: received abort signal

in return...

I run Slackware 11... Any idea what could be wrong?
