[Dxspider-support] debug lost, telenet does not disconnect

Hi,
Twice I have seen this since moving to CentOS5.2 a few weeks ago, perl 
5.8.8.

Uptime 6 days.

Spider loses telnet connection.
I looked at it now, a lot of tcp receive queue on several connections. 
Many are in close wait state. When issuing the b command I got saluted 
good bye but the telnet was not broken.

Simultaneously, it stops writing to spider/data/debug/2008/215.dat. Last 
line is no particular. It writes to other files.

I also saw defunct perl processes, a few days old.

Any sugestions what to look for?
