When a connection drops after 10 minutes, the most likely cause is a bad initialization.  Do your initial connect and then issue either the "who" or "links" command.  If it's a bad initialization, the Ave RTT value will be 999.  In most cases, the bad initialization is caused because the set/spider command was not used with the correct callsign.  This could happen at either end of the connection if they're both Spider nodes.
