[Dxspider-support] linux, kiss, tnc, etc

I am running DX Spider Cluster version 1.55 (build 0.32) on Linux
Copyright (c) 1998-2008 Dirk Koopman G1TLH

My radio port has been off for a couple of months because or
radio failures.  I finally hooked up the TNC again, but spider no
longer talks to it.
Same old version of SuSe.  Did something change?
