[Dxspider-support] More filter questions

More this (I am soooo out of practice).

I am trying

rej/spots node_default input not by_zone 2,4,5

as recommended (and I think that is going to work ok).

But, I am unsure how do I clear any other node_default filters? Do I just
delete the .pl files in /filters?

Also, how often do the node filters get referenced? Do I have to reboot to
get them to take effect?

Lastly, I can't find it in the admin manual, but how do I have dropped
telnet connections to my partner restart if it is originating to me?

Many thanks in advance to all.

So, I have tried a few things.

Rej/spots ve7cc-1 not by_zone 2,4,5

Or

Rej/spots node_default not by_zone 2,4,5

Both did not work.

If I log in as a user and do a

Rej/spots not by_zone 2,4,5 does work

Are node_default filters only updated on a reboot?

All

I am setting up a new connection as my partner node is down due to a storm
issue. Lee VE7CC has been kind enough to allow me to connect to him.

I am having problems comprehending (lack of sleep) how to set up a filter
that is system wide (is that node default?).

I want to only receive spots originating from dxcc zones 2, 4 and 5.

I tried:

Acc/route node_default call_zone 2, 4, 5

But, it did not have the required affect (it didn't seem to stop anything).

What did I miss?
