[Dxspider-support] show/newconfig broken ?

Not working at all for me on ei7mre or on ei7sdx which has just been
rebuilt from latest git sources as we moved it to a hosted virtual
server 
Booth ei7mre and ei7sdx are running on fully up to date centos 5.3
x86_64, wonder if the clue is in the perl version we are using ?
