[Dxspider-support] How many nodes should we connect to?

I am the new sysop for KL7G.ORG port 8000.

This DX Spider v1.55 node runs under Suse 10.3 and works great.

I maintain (via crontab) connections to two nodes and everything work great.
The reason I have two:  if one goes down, I will continue to receive spots
from the other.

 

Is there a recommended number of nodes to be connecting to?  

 

I don't think geography of the nodes matters as long as the nodes I connect
to have high speed connections.  But I'm not certain of this.

 

Your suggestions would be appreciated.
