In the Australian case, it's very specific:
VK + digit + F + 3-letter suffix
Maybe this should also be allowed:
AX + digit + F + 3-letter suffix
I can understand the reluctance to support such a specific callsign
structure, but the damage *can* be contained.
I do sometimes see guys logged in with portable calls that somehow "fit"
(but I can't come up with a specific example at the moment). Aren't
these callsigns longer than 6 characters? How are they allowed to spot,
etc.?
