[Dxspider-support] IPv6 peering bug

I have been IPv6 peering with a couple of other nodes but this evening I
ran into a possible bug 

basically if my node tries to connect to a peer node (cron job or sysop
initiated ) but the peer node is down the session never seems to time
out and my node becomes unresponsive 

the connect script looks like this 

timeout 15
connect  telnet 2001:470:d:660::5 7300
'Login' 'xxxxx'
