I can’t even get Ubuntu to install on the HDD. I downloaded the ISO file, made the disk and inserted. Booted the machine with the disk and all I get is a prompt that I can type “help”. That did me no good as I have no idea what the list of commands are for. Can someone help me with the install?

Can someone let me have a nice elegant script for Upstart in Ubuntu 10.04 please? By the looks of it, I need to create one and drop it into the 'init' directory?
Thanks
