[Dxspider-support] Ubuntu 11.04 and MRTG was RE: Ubuntu 11.04 and java applet

ERROR: unable to open config file: ../../mrtg/mrtg.cfg

sysop at dxspider:~/html/mrtg$

 

I believe I am missing something not quite sure what is may be.

Did you change to the /spider/html/mrtg directory first?

"Now you are nearly there! Login as the sysop user and change to the
/spider/html/mrtg/ directory. Now run the command indexmaker as shown
below..."

I installed mrtg by use of apt-get.
 
Did the indexmaker and added the mrtg entry to the spider crontab and 
everything works.
 
When I do the mrtg all on a command prompt I also get the error, but 
mrtg works fine.
