[Dxspider-support] client connects, telnet not

Hi all!

New user to DXSpider.

I have an issue that when my spider is running i can connect using client
and console.pl, but i cannot connect using telnet. The telnet port is open
(i get response and netstat tells me it's listening on port 8000), but when
i connect i get no login prompt.

I understand from cluster.pl that the Listeners.pm file is not used anymore.

Where to look for clues?

Spider 1.55 build 0.67 on ubuntu server 12.04 i386 No firewall in between,
so no port forwarding issues.
