[Dxspider-support] Windows XP installation

Thanks Mike I tried this but to no avail. I copied the dxvars file off the
working Win 98 box, shut it down, installed it on the xp box, and the same
error is present. Shut down the xp box and turned on the 98 box and it
connected with no issue. Also when I use the winclient on the xp box, I can
log on but and type one line of text and I get no response from spider. I
also cleared arp tables just to be safe.

Willing to try anything, this is just plain weird!

Thanks

John
